This budleia has grown horizontally in the pavement. It is barely 2 inches tall and 14 ‘long.’ Frequently trodden on and with scarce resources it still managed to flower. I am delighted and humbled by it.

I think the hot week we had accelerated the black berries and my Pyracantha. We had ripe berries weeks early and my pyracantha’s berries have already turned red. That doesn’t usually happen till the fall. Not that I’m complaining, it’s beautiful.
