Then a trail of playing cards from the post box to the village apothecary. Odd, its been closed for years. The cards were &#8216;arranged&#8217; around a single brown shoe. A woman&#8217;s I think. One card remained in the case; \u00a0the ace of spades. And the topiary was gone from the Balti house,\u00a0again! Was this the nature of things here in the shadow of Stonehenge?
