I stumbled onto some genealogical website and punched in my sir name. Apparently my ancestors hail from Burton on Trent which is between Birmingham, Nottingham and Stoke on Trent. Home of Tutbury Castle btw. There’s a little village there called “Barton-under-Needwood” which must be where I get my fondness for strange place names.
